Greetings friends, this is a long time coming. Obviously it’s important to have a website, but The Tea Cult website was never really used for anything other than seeing the menu and making reservations (both of which can still be done!) but aesthetically its much more ‘culty’ now.
Is ‘culty’ the right direction? Probably not — the website aesthetic and the physical shop have really nothing in common, and especially if you toggle on the music at the top of the page, the whole thing takes on a very eerie vibe. This webpage is a homage to the old internet and web pages of the early 2000s, especially one of an actual cult which was heavily drawn on for inspiration. Just a bit of fun and creative practice. Anyway.
If there are any bugs you find, can you please let me know somehow? Thank you.
